Bereavement cards for families

Thanks to your generosity, we have been able to fund sympathy cards that are sent out to families who have had a loved one pass away in the Trust’s care.
The Bereavement Services Team plays a crucial role in helping families cope with the loss of their loved ones. Losing a family member is never easy, and it is often an emotional and overwhelming experience. The sympathy cards provide a thoughtful gesture and a way to acknowledge the bereaved family’s loss.
Lead Nurse for End-of-Life Care, Debbie Bayes says, “This is an important acknowledgement following a death of a loved one. We have over 2,500 deaths per year in the Trust and we send these to all families affected by a loss.”
The sympathy cards are an essential part of the Bereavement Services Team’s efforts to support families during their time of grief.
We hope that this small gesture brings comfort to those who have lost a loved one.
