NHS anniversary celebrated with NHS Big Tea events across York and Scarborough Hospitals

Staff at York and Scarborough Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust came together to celebrate the 76th birthday of the NHS by taking part in the NHS Big Tea campaign. Colleagues across the Trust hosted a series of events raising an impressive £1,800 for York & Scarborough Hospitals Charity.
Over 25 events were held by staff who joined forces to host a range of celebratory activities, including bake sales, raffles, quizzes, and prize giveaways. The events provided an opportunity for staff to come together and celebrate the NHS while raising funds for their wards and departments.
Becky White, Community Fundraiser at York & Scarborough Hospitals Charity said ‘We are incredibly thankful to all the fantastic staff across the Trust who celebrated the NHS’s birthday with such enthusiasm and generosity. The money raised will make such a difference’.
