Runners got ‘Caked’ to raise funds for local hospitals

3 MAY 2024

25 brave runners took on ‘Get Caked’ muddy challenge on Saturday 20 April in the stunning ground of Sledmere House to raise over £1,200 for York & Scarborough Hospitals Charity.

The participants climbed over, jumped through, crawled under, and ran across natural and man-made obstacles all while tackling five miles of muddy and wet ground!

Joe Fenton, Community Fundraiser at York & Scarborough Hospitals Charity said “We are extremely grateful and proud of everyone who took part, raising a fantastic amount to help make the hospital experience the best it can be for staff, patients and their families across York and Scarborough Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust”.
